JOSEPH MAROTTA, MD
Dr. Marotta is a board-certified physician who has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Texas at San Antonio, he continued his studies at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston Medical School. Dr. Marotta completed his residency and internship in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Marotta serves as Medical Director for a local hospice organization. He admits patients at Methodist Metropolitan Hospital and Downtown Baptist Hospital. One unique benefit for Dr. Marotta’s patients is that he has maintained the practice of treating his patients at the hospital if they are admitted.
Dr. Marotta is fluent in Spanish. He is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Central Catholic Alumnae Association.
Dr. Marotta is married and has four children.
